My stay at Residence Inn Phoenix was quite pleasant overall. The rooms were clean and had a nice home-y feel, making me feel comfortable during my visit. However, the surrounding neighborhood left a bit to be desired, as it felt somewhat sketchy at times.

While the hotel is conveniently located near the freeway, the neighborhood isn't very nice. I didn't feel unsafe, but I wouldn't walk around too much, especially at night.

I recently spent eight nights at the Residence Inn in Phoenix, and while I enjoyed my stay, there were definitely some ups and downs. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making my long stay more enjoyable, but the location isn’t great. The rooms were nicely laid out with a home-y feel, though they could use some updates.

Rooms

I stayed in a spacious upstairs unit with a loft area, Murphy Bed, and sofa sleeper. The room had a comfortable vibe with all the cooking essentials I needed, although it could use some sprucing up.
Service

The staff were fantastic, especially the breakfast crew who were super friendly and accommodating. They really went above and beyond to make my experience pleasant.

The location of the hotel isn’t the best. It’s not terrible, but it’s not in a great neighborhood either. If you're looking for something along I-17, it might work, but I’d prefer a newer area.
Dining

Breakfast was hot and plentiful with a good variety of foods, though they seemed a bit understaffed at times. I appreciated the friendly service, especially from the breakfast staff.
Facilities

The fitness center was a nice touch and had equipment for both cardio and weights, which I liked. However, the overall upkeep could be better.

I had mixed feelings about my stay at the Residence Inn Phoenix. While the staff was warm and courteous, and the cleanliness of the rooms was commendable, the overall experience was marred by the smoky smell that greeted me each time I entered. The location felt a bit sketchy, and I didn't feel comfortable walking around the area.

Rooms

The service was quite warm and the staff worked hard, especially when there was an issue with the door lock. They were very helpful throughout my stay.

The hotel is in a location that's not great for walking. I felt it was a bit sketchy, and I wasn't comfortable going out alone due to the presence of homeless individuals nearby.

My stay at Residence Inn Phoenix had its ups and downs. The hospitality from the staff was excellent, especially a lovely lady named Jackie who made us feel welcomed during breakfast. However, the hotel itself felt a bit outdated, and I noticed some cleanliness issues with the couch mattress. Overall, it was a decent experience but not without its flaws.
